Crepe and galette place by day, wine purveyor by night, RAC has become a Shanghai dining institution. Unbeknownst to many, its dinner fare matches its brunch fare in quality and superior old-world wine list in a traditionally provincial and elegant fashion. Proprietor Simon Briens – who hails from France – founded RAC out of the ashes of the Franck platform, improving upon its offerings and expanding into natural and biodynamic wines (including via sister wine bar venue Blaz). For our Club dinner event, RAC will provide their second location as a private space, but with the same level of attention to quality tasted by your Food Master in four separate wine pairing dinners since early-2019. The raw materials are great, as is the service, and we’re going to appreciate all of it curated to our Club tastes.
